Session 8

Heroes: Aldym, Ayrin, Gondriel, Raubahn

Still set on gathering the Queen's Eyes, the Heroes explore the next room. The lower floor of the gigantic room is covered with soft ground and forests of red and silver trees, while two miles above, a hanging garden of trees and roots forms the "top" of the room. All around, the room is enclosed by two-miles-high walls of glass, behind them a raging sea of greenish water.

The room is inhabited by a primitive race of grey-skinned creatures, whose only ability is to be afraid of anything and anyone. The Heroes initial investigation reveal the presence of an invisible "entity" able to manipulate the surrounding landscape, to create dangerous pranks in order to scare the locals. When the Heroes themselves are targeted by this "accidents", they decide to take matters into their own hands and provoke the entity to reveal itself.

Their provocation rapidly escalate. Realizing that the locals are nothing more than sentient constructs created by the Incarnation residing in this room, they decide to damage the glass wall, and flood the chamber. As the glass cracks, and water starts to pour in, the Incarnation reveals itself as a grey-skinned humanoid with pulsating red eyes. Strong of will, the Heroes resist the creatures frightful aura, and destroy it. As its head dissolves in grey mud, the Heroes recover its brain: one more of the Queen's Eyes. They then leave the chamber before the exit gets flooded too.

In the next chamber, they find an ocean of brackish water surrounding them on all sides. Here and there, small islands of grey rock dot the surface of the water. When the Heroes make contact with one of the islands, a desperate voice fills their head "help... us... open... black... shell..."

The Heroes begin flying around the gigantic room, hoping to find a black shell. Their search only reveals more grey island, when suddenly from "above" them, a huge pink shell emerges from the ocean. The Heroes approach the shell, and notice a 20ft-wide opening on its surface. Beyond, a dark tunnel delving deeper into the huge shell awaits them. As this seems to be their only lead, the Heroes disembark from the Skyrunner, and enter the dark tunnel.
